r know it from the way she throws herself into learning, bonding, and living life at full throttle. Once she trusts you, she becomes an incredible partner—devoted, driven, and ready for anything.
Nova is confident, goofy, brilliant, and endlessly eager to work. She’s fearless, curious, and has that classic Malinois spark that makes training a joy. She loves having a purpose and thrives with structure and engagement. When she looks at you with those “lovey dovey” eyes, you know you’ve earned her trust—and she gives it wholeheartedly.
Nova is exceptionally trainable and learns at lightning speed. She already knows:
Sit Paw / Other paw Down Place Stay Come Middle Hup (jump) Leave it Spin - Oh, and how to take over your treadmill!
Nova has made huge progress with dog reactivity. On walks and runs, she can ignore nearby dogs when kept under threshold and responds beautifully to “leave it.” She can live with other dogs and has done great with her foster’s pack, even letting them steal her treats. She still needs proper introductions with new dogs and isn’t immediately friendly with unknown ones, but she’s learning by watching other dogs interact. She’s not a dog-park dog right now, but she absolutely can coexist and bond with the right canine companions.
Out on walks, she’s great with people. In the home, she may initially charge toward new visitors out of excitement, but settles quickly when ignored. She’s fast, enthusiastic, and still learning polite greetings. Cats are a no, too high drive. Best with older, dogsavvy children due to speed and enthusiasm.
Go-go-go from 6:30am to 8pm, then she’s ready to chill. She’s working on her off switch, but she’s young, brilliant, and full of life—exactly what you’d expect from her breed and background. She is sweet, exuberant , brilliant, and ready to be someone’s onceinalifetime partner. She would excel in dog sports, working roles, or an active home seeking a highly trainable companion.
