More About Beautiful Brenda
Day Trip #1: Downtown
She enjoyed sniffing the air outside the window and playing with toys. She rested her chin on her volunteer's shoulder for extra cuddles during the ride—clearly a snuggle enthusiast.
She bravely walked downtown in the rain, happily accepted a pup cup, and met friendly people, warming up to them quickly.
She showed curiosity toward squirrels but remained calm and nonreactive toward dogs seen at a distance. When briefly startled by a man jumping over a puddle, she recovered quickly and allowed him to pet her.
Throughout multiple errands, Brenda was excellent in the car, even when left alone for short periods.
After her exciting but tiring adventures, she fell asleep in the car on the way back to the shelter.
Day Trip #2: The Office
Brenda jumped into an SUV for her commute and enjoyed the ride with the windows down, like a seasoned co-pilot.
At the office, she was a model guest—well-behaved in private offices, conference rooms, and around everyone she met, including coworkers, service technicians, and visitors.
She was initially unsure about the automatic paper towel dispenser, but after a few encounters, she confidently ignored the noise. Brenda did wonderfully during meetings and even helped with office errands. She is officially welcome back anytime!
Day Trip #3: Social & Confident
Brenda met the water service technician and enjoyed walks to the park, Pet Food Express, Safeway, and Starbucks.
She calmly passed multiple dogs on walks and interacted politely with dogs inside the pet store. Again, she showed zero reactivity and no resource guarding.
Brenda loves fetch, tug-of-war, and stuffed toys, making her both playful and affectionate—a wonderful balance for an active yet cozy home.
