She’s dog friendly with other small dogs, but because of her size, we’re thoughtful about her social circle. We haven’t introduced her to larger dogs, and we won’t be tossing her into chaotic group play. Button deserves calm, safe interactions and people who understand that 3 lbs requires common sense. Because she’s so petite, Button will be placed with her size in mind. Homes with very young children will need to be evaluated carefully, as accidental bumps and falls can be a real risk for dogs this small. She’s not fragile emotionally, but physically? Yes.
