He’s great on walks, enjoys car rides, and absolutely delights in snowy adventures (with a little help clearing his paws afterward). Stumpy is potty trained but may mark briefly in new environments until he settles into a routine, enjoys other dogs, is okay with cats with respectful introductions, and may do well with kids given thoughtful, supervised meet-and-greets. He’s working on polite greetings and can jump when excited, so continued positive reinforcement training will help him shine. A bit picky about food, he does best with a consistent, quality diet, and his Basset/Poodle coat requires regular brushing and occasional professional grooming. Stumpy will thrive in a home where his people are around often, can maintain a consistent potty schedule, enjoy daily walks and cozy cuddle time, and don’t have stability or mobility challenges due to his enthusiastic, bouncy nature.
