amp;rsquo;m not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts and in a wonderful foster home now. I’m a sweet, hopeful pup with my whole future ahead of me, and I can’t wait to meet the person who will make me part of their family.
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the other dog in my foster home – we nap and play together, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I met the teen and pre-teen grandkids over the holiday and really liked them, so if you have kids around these ages, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. I also met a couple of kids on my walk that were a little younger and they petted me, which I enjoyed.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster adores me and says I’m a sweet, gentle, and very chill boy who’s an absolute joy to have around. I’m a friendly, happy, shaggy guy who’s loving and trusting, proudly holding the title of best snuggle buddy. I’m always ready to share kisses, cuddles, laps and lots of love. / Energy level: 4-6.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: When we go for walks, I do well on my leash and I seem to know what ‘leave it’ means. I’m working on ‘sit’ and ‘down’ in my foster home now. I have lots of enthusiasm and may jump up sometimes when I’m excited to greet you, but I’m generally very gentle. / I did well in my crate in my foster home though I somehow got out of it while they were away – not to worry as my foster reports that I haven’t gotten into anything and since I get along so well with the other dog there, I no longer use a crate in my foster home. I sleep quietly through the night in my doggie bed in my foster’s bedroom. / My foster reports that my potty manners are very good!
• LIKES/DISLIKES: My favorite things are cuddles, pets, and belly rubs - I truly live for attention and soaking up affection. I get so excited to say hello to the people and dogs I meet on walks (I can happily go a couple of miles!), love giving kisses, enjoy cozy naps in my dog bed, and have the best time rolling around in the leaves and savoring the moment when I’m out in the yard with my family. / My only real dislike was feeling a bit nervous when the grandkids tossed around a “flying orb ball” - what was that thing? Once I realized everything was okay, I settled in just fine. Like most dogs, I wouldn’t do well without enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.
I’m a truly wonderful dog looking for the same in my new family and home! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
