pter with a loving family to call her own. Firefly has a lovely tan and white short coat and expressive brown eyes. She is fully grown at 13 pounds, making her a small dog who loves to cuddle. Firefly is good with other dogs and does well with kids. She has not yet had the opportunity to interact with cats since coming into rescue, so her cat compatibility is currently unknown. Firefly tends to be on the shy side when meeting new people but after a bit of time, she will come around and show off her friendly and affectionate side. As a bit of an older girl, Firefly offers the kind of love that only comes with time with steady, gentle, and deeply loyal. She is happiest soaking up the warmth of the sun, resting in a warm lap, and sharing quiet moments with her person. All she is looking for is love, comfort, and a place where she can finally feel at home. She would be a beautiful match for anyone longing for a devoted companion who already knows how to be a wonderful dog. She walks well on a leash, especially when accompanied by another dog. Crate training is in progress. She is a champ at her housetraining. While Firefly is housetrained, it is important to remember that accidents can happen as she adjusts to a new home and routine.
