personality. At about 54 lbs, this medium-sized girl is house-trained, crate-trained, and currently thriving in apartment living with a solid potty routine of four-ish outings a day.
Cosma is an energetic and inquisitive pup who loves staying busy—whether she’s people-watching through the window, squeaking a toy, or carefully hiding a treasured cheese bone. She can be a little unsure when meeting new people at first, but with a few treats and some patience, her kind, playful side quickly comes out. One of her cutest quirks? When she’s extra happy to see you, she “sings” a little “OOOOoooOOO” instead of barking.
Cosma enjoys walks, chasing toys, and any food she can get her paws on, freeze-dried meat treats are a favorite! Thanks to her strong jaw, she prefers durable toys like Nylabones. She’s a quick learner who already knows how to sit and roll over, and she’s working on polishing her manners (mostly keeping those paws off the counter).
Cosma is lightly vocal, quick to alert to hallway noises, and sometimes wary of people in bulky winter gear, but overall she’s a well-adjusted, loving dog. Found neglected in an apartment building, Cosma has blossomed into a confident, affectionate companion who wants nothing more than to make her people happy.
If you’re looking for a smart, expressive, food-motivated pup with a cosmic name and a heart of gold, Cosma might just be your perfect match.
