Our vet noted Jollie has an undershot jaw - he rocks a cute underbite. We have no history on Jollie pre-rescue. He is a terrier mix. He is not hypoallergenic and will shed. Jollie is an easygoing boy who would fit well into many different home environments. He is good with other small dogs but would be happy being your best boy and only companion. He will need a little time to adjust to household routines and expectations, but with patience and structure, he’s sure to become a happy, well-rounded companion for his future family. What is my personality like? Jollie’s journey to rescue was an unusual on. He was left in a drop box in New Mexico and made his way across the country with a truck driver and 13 other dogs. What a story! Along the way, he discovered that he loves car rides and enjoys watching the world pass by through the window, making him a great companion for outings and adventures. At an estimated two years old, Jollie is a terrier mix with a soft, fluffy coat and a personality that’s just as lovable as his looks. Friendly and outgoing, he genuinely enjoys people and is happiest when he can be part of whatever is going on - especially if it involves fresh air and time outside. Jollie enjoys playtime, affection, and exploring the world around him, but he’s also attentive and eager to please. He will benefit from basic training, including leash skills and learning cues like sit and come, and he’s the kind of dog who should pick those things up nicely with consistency and positive guidance. Affectionate, playful, and naturally obedient, Jollie is ready to settle into a real home. How do I act when I first meet new people? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained.
