as along with her two tiny pups. Sadly, one didn’t survive, but Dixi poured every ounce of love she had into caring for her remaining baby, Paul. She proved herself to be a devoted, protective, and deeply loving mama — and now it’s finally her turn to be cared for. We believe Dixi is about 3 years old and likely endured multiple litters before rescue. Despite everything she’s been through, she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. She loves gentle pets, gives soft kisses, and bonds deeply with “her people.” She has done beautifully living with dogs of all sizes and truly needs another confident dog (or dogs) in the home to help her feel safe and secure. Dixi was recently adopted, and while her adopters cared for her and tried their best, their busy, active household proved overwhelming for her sensitive nature. Dixi is a fearful girl who thrives in calm environments. When she feels anxious or unsure, she may have accidents indoors — not because she isn’t housetrained (she is!), but because fear can take over. In her quiet foster home, she did not have these issues.
