afe at last.
I’m about 4–5 years old, a 60-pound Carolina Dog–type mix, and I made quite the journey from Georgia up to NJ. These days, I love the simple things. Sunny spots to stretch out in, bird watching, peaceful walks, and car rides where I can be your quiet, curious co-pilot. I’m a well- mannered gentleman; housebroken, loving my crate as a cozy safe space, and I’m happiest just being near you, keeping you company.
I’ll be honest with you, though… my past left me with a few stories to tell. Before I was rescued, I was attacked by another dog over a nearby female in heat. It hurt me pretty badly, and I needed reconstructive surgery on my eye. It looks a little different now, but it doesn’t bother me one bit. I just need a few daily eye drops, and I’m good as new. I like to think it gives me a bit of pirate charm. Because of that, I can be timid around other dogs, especially at first. I’m not aggressive; just a bit shy and cautious. I’d do best in a calm, quiet home where I can feel safe and take my time settling in. While I’m great with people including kids, a home with adults, or one without too much hustle and bustle, would be perfect for me as I find my sea legs again.
Despite everything, I’m still a happy boy. I still trust. I still love. I still believe my person is out there. I’m neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all my vaccines. I'm ready to sail to a new start. My adoption fee is $415. So, what do you say? If you are ready to let an old sailor come home, then apply at ehrdogs and ask for CAPTAIN JACK DIXON.
