Dog Breed: Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie / Chihuahua / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Truffle! Truffle and her siblings came to us a few weeks ago and we are in love! This litter of pups is so cute and sweet.

They are social, outgoing, hilarious and playful. We're not entirely sure what their breed mix is but our transferring partners guessed Yorkie mixed with Chihuahua. In reality they are probably a mix of many, but who cares! They are just adorable. They are only about 3 lbs at around 9 weeks of age so we expect them to grow to about 12 lbs as adults. Puppies this young and little need gentle handling, proper socialization and of course training! They are babies learning about the world and their new human families should be ready to teach them patiently and gently. They cannot be alone for long periods of time and need to be watched carefully. At this age they explore the world with their mouth and teeth and anything is fair game. We have excellent puppy training resources available and are always available for questions. The pups have received their first vaccinations, deworming and microchip. They will be spayed/neutered between 7-10 months of age. Their adoption fee is $525. PS. We do not place puppies of the same litter or of the same age in the same home. Littermate Syndrome is a real concern and it is better for puppies to grow up learning from an older adult dog. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
