Mackenzie is an easygoing boy with moderate energy, and his ideal home is one that can match his pace while giving him plenty of time, love, and enrichment!
He integrated into his foster pack effortlessly and enjoys playing with the other dogs in the home. He’s great on a leash and loves his 2–3 daily 20‑minute walks around the neighborhood. Mackenzie is fully potty trained, house trained, and does wonderfully when left alone without a crate — though he is crate trained if you prefer using one. He loves chewing on bones, working on his licking mats, and getting the mental stimulation he craves.
Mackenzie hasn’t met cats yet, but since he enjoys chasing squirrels, he may have a similar reaction to feline friends. He’s always excited to meet new people and greets everyone with a friendly “smile.” While he hasn’t met kids, he would likely do well with respectful, school‑aged children.
