be soaking up all the love from the volunteers. Now I'm ready to find a wonderful home of my own with a family to love and be loved by! I came in heartworm positive, but I've been treated for it and am in my rest period now. I can still be adopted during this time, so come meet me soon! I was selected to participate in the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience and learned a lot!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs in the prison/foster training program, and I liked playing with them. If you have a nice doggie at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as friendly, active, fun, and super sweet. I’m a delightful dog who enjoys being close to people - I even crawled right into a lap while sitting outside on a rock! I was very tolerant during my bath and ear cleaning, even resting my head on a towel during my rinse and towel-off. I’m a sweet, calm soul with a bit of an energetic side, too, and I may sometimes bark when I see people or other dogs while out on walks. / Energy level: 6-8 though I’ll need to stay a bit calmer until I’ve completed my heart worm treatment and rest period.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m a proud graduate of the Mostly Mutts Prison Pups immersive training experience so I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and ‘place’ commands. I also use proper door etiquette and have good leash manners as well as accept nice strangers without jumping. Let's continue my training together with the free lifetime training classes that Mostly Mutts offers for all their adopted dogs. / I’m doing well in my crate at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits were good in the off-site training program I was in, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too!
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I enjoy spending time with the nice volunteers and learning new things through training - I’m a smart girl who likes to stay engaged. I also like going for car rides. I’m sure once I’m settled in my new home, we’ll discover so many more things to enjoy together! / I’ve been nervous of fast movements and thresholds (like a doorway), but I’m working with my trainer on this. Other than that, like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. Since I wasn't kept on heartworm prevention in my previous home, I came to Mostly Mutts HW positive. Thankfully, I’ve been treated for it and am in my recovery period now, which will conclude mid-late June. I will have my heartworm re-check in November 2026. I am still available for adoption during this time, but local adoption is best, please. I have moderate tartar on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future.
I’m a wonderful dog looking for a wonderful family to love and be loved by. My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
