At only about 6–7 months old, Sierra has already been through more than she should have. She and her sister were dumped in California, but despite that rough start, Sierra has stayed loving, trusting, and eager to connect with people. Now she’s safe in foster care and ready for her second chance. Here’s what her foster says about her so far: Super lovable Quick learner, already working on sit, down, and stay Best friends with the resident 6-year-old Brittany Spaniel Professional cuddler and expert kisser Bonds quickly with everyone in the home Loves fetch and could play all day Loves all kinds of toys and isn’t destructive Even loved the snow we had Fixed and up to date on vaccines Sierra is still learning some puppy manners and would benefit from continued structure and training: Continued leash and obedience work Long downs, long sits, and place training Working on her counter surfing skills Needs continued socialization around cats, she’s very fixated Slow, proper introductions with assertive female dogs Barks a little when first crated, then settles down nicely She’s the perfect mix of silly puppy energy and loving companion, and she’s looking for a family ready to help her continue growing into the incredible dog she’s meant to be.
