About Maui’s Breed:
Our best guess is that Maui is a Husky mixed breed. Huskies are known for their striking looks, sharp intelligence, and big, expressive personalities. They’re energetic, social dogs who love adventure, mental stimulation, and being part of the action. With their working dog roots, they thrive when they have a job to do — whether that’s running, hiking, playing, or learning new skills.
An ideal home for a Husky is one with active people, a secure fenced yard, and plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. They do best with owners who can provide structure, consistency, and confident leadership. With the right balance of activity, companionship, and guidance, Huskies become incredibly loyal, joyful, and engaging family members who bring a whole lot of fun into everyday life.

This boy lights up every room he enters with his huge, goofy smile (tongue usually hanging out for extra charm) and instantly becomes everyone’s best friend — kids, dogs, cats, you name it! No one can resist his sunshine bright personality!
Maui is playful, social, and full of zest for life. Maui LOVES to play fetch and will show off that he knows how to "sit"! He would love to learn more commands too. He would thrive in a home with a big, fenced yard where he can zoom, romp, and burn off his joyful energy. He absolutely loves playing with other dogs and would be thrilled to have a doggie sibling — or two, or three. After a day of fun, he’s also a massive cuddle bug who will happily curl up beside you and soak up all the love!
He’s potty trained, crate trained, and has wonderful house manners. His gorgeous amber eyes will melt your heart, and his enthusiasm for life is contagious. On leash, he can be a little all over the place (there’s just so much to see!), but he’s working on it. Maui would make an amazing adventure buddy — camping, hiking, water fun, exploring — he’s up for it all. Oh – and he’s a dream passenger in the car (he will settle right down and even snooze on the way to wherever he is going). The world is his oyster, and he’s ready to share it with you!
