dog. She can be timid for the first 30 seconds when she meets someone, but once she knows you want to be her friend, she's all in! She loves playing with other dogs and she was a wonderful mama to her babies. She would love to have a dog buddy but she could also be an only dog. She walks wonderfully on the leash and she's incredibly smart. She is young and still has a lot of puppy behaviors. She can be mouthy and may chew gently on your hand when playing. We are working on her training and correcting this behavior. She also knows how to sit on command. We are working on house training her since she has never lived inside. She has taken to being an indoor dog very quickly and she's glad her days of starving on the streets are over. She walks wonderfully on a leash and rides in the car like a pro. Her fur is like satin and it is getting silkier and silkier as she gains weight and has finished nursing her pups. She's finally getting the nutrition she needs. She will continue to thrive in a loving home. History: Mama was found as a pregnant stray running loose with the daddy. Daddy was caught and taken to Animal control and Mama built a cubby and a wonderful person's backyard where she could have her babies. She had 8 beautiful babies That she nursed and kept safe. We have found homes for all of them. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself.
