. Weighing in at just 21 lbs., this small, handsome boy with his soft black and tan coat is as charming as he is resilient. Rescued from a hoarding situation along with several other animals, Winston is now safely in foster care, where he is beginning to blossom. He will need to be placed in a home with a male adopter. Despite his difficult start, Winston has already shown what a well-mannered and gentle companion he can be. He gets along nicely with other dogs, making him a great addition to many types of households, although his history with cats remains a mystery. As you might expect, Winston will need time and patience to fully adjust to a new environment. Winston prefers a quiet home. Medium energy level, he will join you for walks around the neighborhood and then settle in for a cozy evening by your side. He is still working on his crate training but has already learned to master his house and leash training. He is a smart boy that aims to please. It is important to remember that although he is housetrained, accidents can still occur while adjusting to a new home environment. More than anything, Winston is searching for a safe, quiet, stable home where he can feel secure, cherished, and truly loved.
