Meet Ike!
Ike may still be a young puppy, but he’s already proving he’s one smart little guy.
Since arriving in foster care, Ike has impressed everyone with how quickly he learns. He already knows commands like sit, down, up, and even cross—walking across a platform on a beginner agility course. This bright boy loves learning new things and is eager to engage with his people, making training both fun and rewarding.
Like any puppy, Ike is curious about the world around him and excited to explore it. He’s playful, affectionate, and always ready to investigate something new. Whether he’s tagging along on an adventure, working on a new skill, or enjoying playtime, Ike approaches life with enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
Ike is currently living in foster care, where he is doing well with cats and continuing to build his confidence. He is also working on crate training and all the important puppy skills that will help him grow into a wonderful adult dog.
Ike and his littermates got an unusual start to life. They were found living beneath a shed in rural Texas, where their devoted mama did everything she could to keep them safe. Thankfully, a caring local family stepped in to help, giving the puppies a safe place to grow until they were ready to begin their journey to brighter futures.
Now, Ike is exactly where a puppy should be—safe, loved, learning new things, and looking for a family of his own.
As with any puppy, Ike will need continued training, socialization, structure, patience, and love as he grows. In return, you’ll get the incredible experience of watching a smart, eager young dog develop into an amazing lifelong companion.
If you’re looking for a puppy who is equal parts brains, personality, and potential, Ike may be the perfect addition to your family.
IMPORTANT: This dog has not yet been altered. SNARR requires a $150 deposit in addition to your adoption fee, as well as a strictly enforced Spay/Neuter Contract stating you will have this dog altered within 6 months of adoption. The $150 deposit will be returned once the contract has been fulfilled.
