Cookies & Cream has a moderate energy level and loves to stay busy. Whether he's zooming through the grass, wrestling with the family cat, chewing on his favorite bone, or playing a quick game with his brother Rocky Road, he enjoys making the most of his day. Once the fun is over, though, he's more than happy to curl up beside his people for a cozy evening of snuggles.
He's making wonderful progress with his house training and continues to improve every day. Cookies & Cream is crate trained and settles nicely with a soft blanket and a favorite toy.
Cookies & Cream gets along beautifully with other animals. He currently lives with a large English Bulldog, where they peacefully coexist, and he absolutely loves playing with the resident cat. He also enjoys spending time with his brother Rocky Road, and the two are often found together.
When meeting new people, Cookies & Cream may be a little shy at first and can be a bit shaky while he figures things out. His confidence grows quickly, and before long his happy, vibrant personality takes over. He's rarely vocal and prefers spending his time playing, exploring, and soaking up attention from the people he loves.

This dog is up to date on vaccinations and is spayed or neutered. (Please note: Puppies under 3 months old may not be sterilized prior to adoption. If this is the case, your adoption coordinator will provide guidance on the process.)

Our dogs come from various situations, such as kill shelters, owner surrenders, or as strays. It is likely both parents were mixed breeds as well.
Sandy Paws Rescue does not have a public shelter in Massachusetts. Our dogs reside in private foster homes or boarding kennels in the South until adopted. Many dogs are spoken for prior to transport or release from state-mandated isolation.
