These precious little guys were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. Their mother is a purebred Boston Terrier; their father is unknown, but the family that surrendered the puppies mentioned a neighbor's Beagle/Hound mix or their Cattledog mix was the suspected father. The puppies were born the first week in January, and at 4.5 months old, they weigh around 25 pounds. Given their current age and size, we expect a mature size of roughly 40 pounds in an adorable, short, solid, stocky build. Swiss, Cheddar, and Colby are curious, energetic, social, and happy, making great companions for active families who have the time and patience to raise, train, socialize, and exercise them. Puppies are undoubtedly adorable and fun, but require a great deal of time and attention during their first several months. Please remember that puppies this age need frequent potty breaks (every 3-4 hours or so) and lots of playtime, engagement, and mental stimulation throughout the day, so please consider if you truly have the time for a puppy before applying. The adoption fee to the rescue is $475 per puppy. They are neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm preventatives. • The cheese litter is fostered in Chicago, and meetings can be scheduled by appointment only after an adoption application has been completed and approved.
