’m still not quite sure how I ended up there, but I’m so grateful to be with Mostly Mutts now. I hear that I’m ready to find a family of my very own and I think that is the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a handsome boy with a sweet personality! I’m very active, playful, and always ready for some fun. I arrived a little anxious, but I was still friendly and eager to make new friends. During my bath, I had lots of nervous energy at first, but once the water was running, I settled down and did a great job. As soon as the water was turned off, though, I was ready to hop right out of the tub - lol! Beneath all my energy is a very sweet heart, and I’m looking forward to sharing my playful, loving personality with my new family. / Energy level: 5-7.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’, and ‘place’ commands. I’m working on my leash manners now with the volunteers as I do pull some and I’m strong. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s continue training together. / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty manners have been good on the shelter schedule.
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being petted and spending time with the nice volunteers who give me attention and affection. Being around people is one of my favorite things, and I’m sure that as I settle into my new home, we’ll discover many more activities that we enjoy doing together! / I can’t think of any dislikes, though like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I just had a dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again - and not the talking-back kind of fresh!
