ur website at .dachshundpaws Junior is a 4-month-old chocolate and tan wirehaired Miniature Dachshund with the sweetest, gentlest personality you could ever hope to find. This handsome little boy is very affectionate and loves being held. While he can be shy when meeting new people, he blossoms with a little patience and time. Once he feels safe, Rootbeer is a loving, loyal companion who enjoys being close to his people. Junior absolutely loves other dogs and is looking for a home with another playful dog his size. Whether he's playing chase, sharing toys, or snuggling up with his canine friend, he is happiest with a four-legged companion by his side. Like most Dachshunds, Junior is still working on his house-training skills. He is using a doggie door successfully, but he'll need a patient family to continue helping him learn. At bedtime, Junior is the perfect cuddle buddy. He loves curling up next to you under the covers and will happily stay snuggled beside you all night long. Because of his shy, sensitive nature, Junior is looking for a home without small children. He would thrive with a patient family that will give him the time he needs to build confidence and become the loving companion he's meant to be.
