Meet Toffee, a 3-month-old Basset Hound/Lab mix weighing approximately 18 lbs, and quite possibly one of the cutest puppies you'll ever lay eyes on. With her adorable low-rider body, tiny little legs, and sweet puppy face, she's guaranteed to make people stop and say, "A!"
But Toffee isn't just cute—she's the total package!
This sweet girl has an adventurous spirit and is always ready to explore the world. Whether she's romping around the yard with her dog friends, checking out something new, or playing with her favorite toys, she's happiest when she's having fun. And once she's all worn out? She'll happily trade her adventures for a cozy cuddle session right by your side.
Toffee is:
Great with dogs of all sizes
Wonderful with people of all ages, including kids
Cat introduced with little reaction (though she may try to convince a kitty to play—she is still a puppy!)
Doing great with her house and crate training on a consistent schedule
Up to date on vaccines and preventatives
Microchipped
Will need to be spayed before 7 months of age
She may whine for a few minutes when going into her crate or puppy pen, but don't take it personally—she just loves being with her people! Once she realizes you'll be back, she settles in nicely.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at .pack9rescue. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate.
