homes. I’m in a wonderful foster home soaking up all the love and attention from my foster family and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find a family of my own. I think that is the best news ever!
• OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: Though I came to Mostly Mutts with another dog, I’ve decided that sharing my people with another pup just isn’t on my “I’m willing to do that” list! I want to be the one and only dog soaking up all the love and attention. I even got into a scuffle with another dog over sharing my person, so I’m pretty serious about this! I can also be a little possessive of my food around other dogs, so I’d be happiest as your one-and-only furry friend. More love for me, no need to share. / Cats unknown. / I’ve met a 7-year-old child and was very barky and excited, though we’re not sure if it was good excitement or uncertainty. I’d likely do best with calm, older children such as 10+ who can give me the time and space I need to feel comfortable. Let’s meet and see if we’re a good fit and best no very young kids as I’m very small!
• PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: At the shelter, the nice volunteers described me as sweet, friendly, and a little shy. I was scared when I first arrived and would shake until I felt safe, but my loving personality quickly started to shine through. Everyone thought I was a doll baby and just the sweetest girl. In my foster home, I’ve blossomed even more and have shown just how much love I have to give! I’m affectionate, bond quickly with my people, and can’t get enough attention. Sometimes I’ll even climb right up your chest to give you a kiss because I just want to be close. I also have a curious, excitable side and like to check out what’s going on around me, letting you know if something catches my attention. I can climb stairs, but I’m also perfectly happy being carried up and down them. I’m a loving little companion who’s ready to share my big heart with my forever family. / Energy level: 3-5 with occasional spurts of energy.
• SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t think I know any commands, but Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so we could do some of those together if you would like to. / In my foster home at night or when they are away, I stay in the powder room, and they report that I behave really well there without making noise or having accidents. / My potty manners were good while I was at the shelter, though I’ve had some accidents in my foster home. I use potty pads indoors and also go outside. My fosters think this may have been related to an infection that was discovered during my spay, but that is all cleared up now. I’m ready to continue working on my good potty habits in my new home and hope they will be back to very good very soon!
• LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being close to my people! Laps, cuddles, being held, carried, and hearing soft, calm voices are some of my favorite things. I’m happy to share kisses, snuggle beside you (or right on you!) on the couch, and spend quality time together. I also enjoy walks, exploring, and small stuffed animals. / I wouldn’t be happy in a loud or busy home environment and like all dogs, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and good care.
• MEDICAL: I'm current on my annual vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. When I arrived, I had a small puncture wound under one of my eyes, a tooth abscess, and a little fur loss. Thankfully, all those issues have been treated, and I’m healing up very nicely! I’ve had a good dental cleaning too with a few teeth pulled.
I’m looking for a family that is gentle and kind and will take good care of me! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
