Here's Your Quick Peek: Bowie was born at the home of a hoarder, where more than 50 dogs lived on the property and his parents could not be identified. He arrived at Carolina Poodle Rescue covered in fleas, filled with parasites and having never received a vaccine—but beneath that difficult beginning was a bright, affectionate and wonderfully playful little puppy. Important Medical Information Bowie is still receiving treatment for hookworms and giardia. Clearing intestinal parasites is often a process rather than a one-time treatment, so he will require additional deworming and follow-up testing until his veterinarian confirms that the parasites are gone. His second puppy vaccination is scheduled for August 5, 2026, and he cannot leave for his new home before that date. His adopter must be prepared to complete his remaining puppy vaccinations and parasite treatment with their veterinarian.
