What to Love about Miles:
Miles loves people, gives enthusiastic kisses, and has that joyful, clumsy puppy energy that keeps everyone smiling! Despite his size, he’s easygoing and surprisingly well mannered: he walks nicely on a leash, knows sit, takes treats gently, and is great in a crate. He’s still very much a blank slate, ready to learn, bond, and grow with the right family. Miles adores playing with the dogs in his foster home and eagerly wants to meet new dog friends on his walks. Cats, however, are a firm no for this boy.
Because he’s large, goofy, and still learning his body, Miles would do best with older kids he can’t accidentally topple over. He’s working on his house training and making great progress, and he thrives with structure, activity, and mental stimulation — all typical needs for a young shepherd. A fenced yard is required to keep him safe, and experienced German Shepherd owners are preferred (although not required) to help guide him into adulthood. Miles would love a doggie sibling to play with as he has the best time playing with other dogs, though it isn’t required. With his sweet nature, playful spirit, and eagerness to learn, Miles is ready to become someone’s loyal, loving, unforgettable companion!
