Travis is a protector by nature and takes his job seriously! He is observant, aware of his surroundings, and may let you know when something catches his attention. He can be vocal when he wants to alert you, making him an excellent guard dog. But at home, he is a total sweetheart — goofy, loving, and happiest when he is spending time with his family.
This handsome boy is full of energy and would absolutely thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can run, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Travis is a very smart dog who loves having a job to do. He enjoys learning new commands, playing games, and using his nose. His favorite game is hide-and-seek! He is highly food motivated, a fast learner, and eager to work with his person. Nose work, obedience training, puzzle toys, and scent games are all great ways to help Travis thrive.
When it comes to other dogs, Travis can be social and enjoys having canine and feline friends. He attends daycare and interacts well with other dogs. He does well with many dogs but may have some opinions about certain dogs, especially larger, more intense dogs like huskies or German Shepherds.
