year-old Chihuahua mix weighs approximately 8 pounds, although his vet has informed him that 6 pounds would be a more appropriate number. Milo has filed a formal complaint and is currently being forced to diet against his will. Please respect his privacy during this difficult time.
Milo is basically a tiny little man who has absolutely no idea that he is tiny.
He is currently living with SIX dogs ranging from puppy to senior and 10 pounds to 100 pounds. And somehow, this 8-pound gentleman has decided he's equally qualified to hang out with ALL of them.
Dogs? "Obviously, I'm in charge."
Cats? "Sure, whatever." He's met them with no issues.
Kids? "Fine, but let's discuss some boundaries." We recommend respectful children who understand that Milo may be small enough to carry but is NOT a stuffed animal.
Humans? "Excellent. Where do I sign up for cuddles?"
And then there's the classic Chihuahua "I may be 8 pounds, but I am absolutely prepared to defend this household from a suspicious leaf" attitude.
Milo is:
3 years old
Approximately 8 lbs and currently working toward his healthier 6-lb figure
Sweet underneath all that little-man confidence
Great with dogs of all sizes and ages
Good with respectful children
Has met cats with no issues
House and crate trained, although he may have a couple accidents while adjusting to a new home
Great in his crate
Also believes sleeping in your bed is an excellent alternative
Neutered and up to date on vaccines and preventatives
Basically, Milo is the whole Chihuahua experience in one adorable little package.
He's got the attitude.
He's got the confidence.
He's got the opinions.
He's got the tiny legs.
And underneath it all, he's just a really sweet boy looking for his people.
If you're looking for a little companion who will keep you laughing, follow you around, supervise everything you do, and probably convince you that he absolutely needs to sleep under the covers...
Milo would like you to submit your application immediately.

And please share! Milo's forever family needs to know that their tiny, slightly overweight, extremely opinionated future roommate is waiting for them.

We are PA Caring for K-9's, an all-breed dog rescue that is solely run by volunteers. Most of our dogs are rescued from high kill shelters in the South. If the dog is posted, they are still available! Once arriving, these dogs enter foster homes, as we do not have a shelter. We cannot adopt out dogs to a home with dogs that are not fixed or up to date on shots. If interested in adopting, please submit an application online at .pack9rescue. Our adoption fee for altered dogs is $350 and goes directly to saving the lives of more dogs. Our adoption fee for unaltered puppies will be $400 which includes a refundable $50 deposit upon receipt of spay/neuter certificate. Learn more about adopting from us or volunteering for us at .pack9rescue or check us out on Facebook for more information and a complete list of dogs available for adoption. .facebook/PaCaringForK9s/
