t just a year and a half old, he's still very much a puppy—full of curiosity, enthusiasm, and endless affection. Whether he's romping around with his canine friends, leaning in for cuddles, or making everyone laugh with his goofy antics, Goose lives every day to the fullest.
Goose is searching for a new home through no fault of his own. His family loves him dearly, but a new 12-hour work schedule means they can no longer give this energetic young boy the time, companionship, and enrichment he deserves. They know Goose will thrive with a family who can match his playful spirit and include him in everyday life.
This handsome boy is incredibly social and genuinely loves everyone he meets. People, dogs—even the occasional neighborhood critter—are all potential friends in Goose's eyes! He's a regular at the dog park, where he happily makes new playmates, and his owner jokes that he's so friendly he once tried to invite a possum inside to hang out.
After he's had a chance to burn off some energy, Goose is the ultimate cuddle companion. Like most Great Danes, he's convinced he's a lap dog and would happily spend his evenings curled up beside you, soaking up all the love and attention he can get.
Goose is house trained, neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and receives monthly Simparica Trio. He walks well on a leash and has a solid recall, especially when he knows something fun is waiting. He's eager to please and would thrive with continued training as he matures into the incredible adult Dane he's destined to become.
Like many young dogs, Goose still gets excited when meeting new people and may jump up to say hello. Because of his size and puppy enthusiasm, he'd do best in a home with children over six years old. He's affectionate with adults and older kids alike and loves being involved in whatever his family is doing.
Goose has a few charming quirks that make him unforgettable. He's oddly convinced that soccer balls are terrifying (tennis balls are perfectly acceptable!), becomes a little more watchful after dark, and isn't shy about letting you know when he'd rather you stayed home with him. His expressive personality and hilarious antics are guaranteed to keep a smile on your face.
He would love a home with another playful dog to wrestle and run with, though he'd also be happy as your one-and-only if he's given plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and quality time.
