Our job is to find those someone's. Our most successful adopters come to CPR not because they want a dog. They come to us because they want to give a dog a home. CPR pulled her from a local shelter. Foster location: Dreamweaver Farms, Pacolet SC Special Needs? Casey has hair loss around her tail due to a severe flea infestation. She also had mammary tumors which have been removed. Casey is recovering well and will look like a brand new pup with time and flea prevention! Weight: 11 lbs Height: 9.5 in Spayed/Neutered: Yes Adoption Fee: $200 Fence needed? No, but Casey would love daily walks. What kind of home would be best for me? Casey would love an easy going home with owners that will love her unconditionally. What is my personality like? This little girl arrived at the farm in not the best shape. She was underweight, loss of hair, and with those stubborn mammary tumors but still with the most gentle personality. Casey's hair is now growing back, she is gaining weight, and her tumors have been removed! Now all she is missing is her retirement home. Casey reminds us of a little, busy, elderly lady that just loves to bee-bop around in her little sunhat and dress. She loves to go for strolls and see things she might have not ever seen before or maybe even to sniff a few flowers. She is low-key and the only noise she makes is when she is ready to come out of her crate. Casey enjoys having attention and sitting next to you but she isn't needy and is very patient if her people are busy. She has gotten along exceptionally well with the cats and dogs she has met. She walks well on a leash but does second guess herself when it comes to walking out of gates or going up the stairs. Though she doesn't know any basic commands she is a fool for soft treats! How do I act when I first meet new people? A little shy, but sweet. Other tips and tidbits: Just a sweet elder lady looking for her family! Oh and she does not like pedicures. Just saying, may want to let her groomer know she needs some patience with the toe nails. This is her only bad thing. House trained? Dogs can be house trained if they are in the right environment and are allowed to follow a schedule as long as a physical reason doesn't keep them from being trained. A dog house trained in my home may not be in yours. We will help you teach your new dog this necessary skill and based on your schedule. Please note - we do not ship dogs. It is very difficult to get to know a living animal from a picture and a short description. Since we are constantly getting in new dogs, this may be a dog not in our listings yet.
