n relationship to age, size, breed, behavior, housebreaking, crate training, good with children, cats, dogs, and strangers. Dogs may present themselves differently in different environments, therefore The Dog Spot Rescue, their agents, volunteers, can not guarantee behavior, age, size expectations, breed, house Training, destructive behavior tendencies, and/or medical issues. All dogs from shelters have been subjected to pathogens from the shelter level which can materialize into disease in the future. Each adopter must observe for themselves pre-adoption and make decisions for themselves the suitability of said dog and their tolerance levels for transitional time when adopting a shelter dog. We ask that each adopter take their time when making the choice to bring home a rescued dog.
Well behaved lovebug looking for home
Precious came to us from a high kill shelter, sick, tired and alone. We do not know how she got there but only know she did not deserve to be facing death and for that reason, we brought her into our rescue program. She had foxtails in her belly very infected, snarled hair, neglected ears and eyes and she was just such a mess. After being treated by our vet medically, having several hair cuts, having ears and eyes addressed, she is now happy, well adjusted and ready to find HOME! She has just been freshly groomed and her foster mom says she is such a nice little house guest. She gets along with dogs, could care less about cats, great with kids and people of any sort. Perfect senior companion dog or for anyone who wants a sweet dog to love. She is a indoor dog who loves going outside to walk about, sleep in the sun, watch you garden. She is good in the car, is crate trained, loves yummy food and belly rubs.
Adoption is $250.00 and includes her spay, shots, rabies, heart worm test, bordetella, de worming treatment, flea medication for the month, chip. She comes with a two week trial as well.
If interested in meeting this sweet girl, please fill out an on line application at: thedogspot.rescuegroups.org and then contact us at: thedogspotrescue@aol.com for a meet and greet appointment. She is worth the trip to meet her. Everyone who has met her ha fallen in love.
Appointments are normally held in Elk Grove or Davis depending on which of our volunteers will be working that Saturday. Precious can be seen during the week at a different location. Little paws crossed!
Your Adoption Fee covers the following expenses: Spay/Neuter, DHLPP, Bordatella, Rabies (if age appropriate), De-worming and Frontline/Advantage
Please Note: Shelter/rescue dogs have been exposed to many pathogens such as kennel cough, parasites, diseases and conditions some of which may not have been discovered prior to adoption. Any dog that shows symptoms here at TDS are routinely identified, taken for tests and treatment. Our vet bills can exceed $10,000 a month. However, without symptoms, we may miss a disease, or pre-existing condition or parasite. Consider carefully if you have the tolerance for these possibilities. We consider, you, the adopters, the last leg of the rescue process.
