met new people. He might bark at first, but he warms up when the person offers a hand to sniff. He does a nice "sit". He would thrive in an active home- he's very energetic, and loves to play with his toys. ​ Are you my furrever family? All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records. Our prices are higher than the shelter's because we are committed to taking care of the dogs all their lives if they aren't adopted, and we nurse them through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries. Our prices start at $150 and go up to $750. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The higher end is for our most in demand dogs, such as puppies and hard-to-find purebred dogs. Because we are a charity, the fees for our dogs are officially "donations" and are tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return! The beauty of coming to our Apple Valley sanctuary is that you can see all 90+ dogs! Email your application and ask for more details! Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
