ay 9, well I don’t feel 9, age is just a number right? Anyhow, I am an extremely easy going boy who is looking for my forever home. I love playing with my toys, receiving belly rubs, savoring a good bone, chasing pesky ducks from the pond, and running with my friends. I also am somewhat of a gentleman...my foster mom says I exhibit manners such as sitting at the threshold of the kitchen if someone is cooking, refraining from counter surfing or begging, and I won't jump on people or furniture, unless you want me too lol.
I am leash trained and know commands such as sit, stay, come, down and rollover. I know pretty impressive right?! Well keep reading I am affectionate to children of all ages and adjusts easily to new situations/animals. So I am in deed dog friendly. My foster family has picked up on some of my cute mannerisms like nudging human arms for attention, placing a paw gently on humans lap if the nudge was ignored, leaning against people, and my passion for playing in water. Car rides and field trips to pet stores are embraced with enthusiasm as I have yet to meet a stranger I didn’t like.
I think I would be ok with cats but I haven’t met any yet, also I am not currently do not stay in a crate, so my foster family doesn’t know how I’d do. I would however do well in a home with an active sibling to play with and a large yard to stretch my legs. I am housebroken and have a clean bill of health. I know don’t I sound perfect, I think so too. I am being fostered in the DFW area so ask about me today!
