Posted Breed: Shepherd / Bernese Mountain Dog / Mixed. Butter and her adorable puppy named Butter Cream found themselves in a remote shelter ready to find a new life. She is a beautiful girl with a double coat that is a soft golden with a flowing white coat around her neck. We believe she is a Shepherd, Bernese Mt Dog, and possibly Collie who is about 1.5 years old. Butter is a sweet, gentle hearted girl who is very good with other dogs and plays respectfully with them. She is both house and crate trained and can be left in her crate for 6 hours. She also sleeps in her crate at night. Butter is a quiet girl who is not much of a barker. She sleeps quietly in her crate when you leave or at night. She loves to chew on antlers and bones. Butter will find a dog bed at night and will hang out with her bone. She loves her people but it takes her some patience to get to know you. She is friendly but a bit timid. Butter would love a family who is positive and willing to train with patience. Kids over 5 would be good for Butter as long as you give her a few moments to settle in with your family.
