Description
Posted Breed: Shiba Inu / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Loki's name was picked especially for him and very fitting. He is a very "low key" dog and very mellow. He loves to snuggle with people and rub his head into your chest as if to tell you to pet him. He very rarely barks and gets along with other dogs pretty well. I am not sure how he is around cats. I don't know if he's ever been around any. He is NOT a big fan of dog toys or loud noises. He loves to get out in the back yard and run around and explore pretty much on his own. He's kind of a one man show and would do well to be the "king of the castle" sort of speak. He also loves dog treats and will take them very gently from your finger tips, only to run off and enjoy his treat! He loves a warm soft blanket to wrap up in as well and often times you would find him burying his head first under the blankets and tossing the blanket up over his backside. He always has a straight face and will stare at you with blank stares. But that is part of his personality that makes him so cute and lovable. Once submitted, the foster will contact you to tell you more, and to arrange a meeting! The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $250.00, which includes their vaccinations and spay/neuter. Loki is participating in the DFW Rescue Me Guest Dog Program, so custody and ongoing care are provided by the foster, not by DFWRM.
