Posted Breed: Dachshund / Chihuahua / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 250.. Little BB is a precious dachshund/chihuahua-type mixed breed girl looking for a loving home. Photos do not do this brindle beauty justice. She's around 5 years old and just 12 pounds. BB landed in a rural shelter after being confiscated in a hoarding case. BB is a sweet little cuddlebug who is good with other dogs and cats. BB has always been with other dogs and is best suited to a home where she will have other doggie siblings. If you'd like to meet BB, please fill out a dog adoption application at dreamhouserescue. We are happy to arrange a private meet with an approved adopter. All of our fully-vetted adoptable dogs go to prospective homes for a one-week trial period to make sure the dog and home are the right fit before an adoption is finalized. We only adopt dogs into homes where all current pets are spayed/neutered and current on vaccines and heartworm and flea and tick prevention. We do check veterinary references to make sure adopters are compliant with standard veterinary care. Our adoption fee covers the dog’s veterinary care, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention and any other needed veterinary care. A deposit is required to take a dog home for a trial period. The deposit will be applied to the dog’s final adoption fee.
