Posted Breed: Rottweiler / Mastiff / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: $350. Miss Carla is a 2 year old Rottie/mastiff/bully cross.. Her story is actually quite sad, but dont let that discourage you. She is currently living her best life with all her dog friends at the rescue. She originally belonged to a homeless woman who loved her very much. She met many friends and other dogs on her daily journeys. She met a gentleman named Jason who Stopped through everyday with his dogs, and visited with Carla and the lady. One day though, he came walking through and the lady wasn’t anywhere to be found, he asked about her and was told she had been hospitalized. He then inquired about Carla, only to be told Animal Control had picked her up. In a panic he raced down to get her. Jason adopted Carla so that her owner could reclaim her once she made it out of the hospital. Sadly that never happened as her owner died in the hospital. Jason had 4 dogs of his own, he kept Carla for a few months and ultimately decided he needed some help. Carla loves other people, dogs. She is a stellar dog. She is housebroken, crate trained, she loves to play fetch. She loves car rides. She is VERY sweet.. She would make a great companion for a senior, a veteran, somebody wanting companionship. Shes easy to exercise and she can go darn near anywhere.. She is spayed, has had all her shots and is microchipped.
