Posted Breed: Ibizan Hound / Mixed (short coat). The dogs Arcadia Animal Rescue saves are mainly located in southern states, such as NC, SC, TN and TX. We can transport to most states, through partner networks. Virtual meet n greets can be arranged for all non-local adopters. Meet Doodle!! Doodle came from a high kill shelter in NC. He is around a year and a half, 45lbs but gaining some much needed weight , neutered, HW negative and UTD on all his vaccines. From his foster “Doodle is a beauty and clumsy, But when he runs he floats! He Doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. The Ibizan hound is a site and scent hound and is absolutely amazing! He is extremely smart, friendly and obedient. House trained and crate trained. Knows commands sit, down , stay (mostly ) and kennel. I suspect he knows more but he hasn’t been in foster long. He should have an active family as he has a lot of energy and would love a dog brother or sister around the same age and or weight with energy to match his. Right now just being out of the shelter he is afraid of loud noises and is comforted by his persons touch but he continues to gain confidence every day. He is very affectionate to dogs and people! Doodle is a blessing and will be a wonderful furever family member.
