Looking for a very special canine companion in Brooklyn and area? Caterpillar is one dog you absolutely must meet! This extra sweet Pyrador (Yellow Lab x Great Pyrenees mix) has the most incredible personality that makes her almost human. She’s smart, witty, great company and a friend to everyone she meets. Better yet, she is a registered service dog – you can take her everywhere! Caterpillar is 3 years old and weighs 60 pounds. She is an amazing dog looking for a wonderful forever home anywhere within a reasonable distance of NYC. Sweet and very social, Caterpillar will quickly steal your heart. She is very affectionate and loves cuddle time on the couch. She is even an aspiring doggie influencer with a growing following on Instagram! Caterpillar is good with other dogs, and loves humans with all her heart. She is good with children and adults alike. Caterpillar has only one real issue, and that is that she isn’t fond of cats. She just needs a new home where there are no feline family members. Caterpillar needs a home where she doesn’t have to be left by herself. She has a touch of separation anxiety, which might be addressed by having a doggie sibling or two to hang out with if she has to be left home for a short period of time. Caterpillar’s owners are devastated to have to find her a new home, but her dislike of cats has caused disharmony in her home. She needs a more dog-centric home where she won’t encounter any cats. Ideally, a house with a nice, securely fenced yard and owners with all the time in the world for her would be her perfect placement. She would be a great companion for retired dog lovers looking for a companion to add plenty of joy, laughter and affection to their home. As a hybrid, it has better quality than its parent breeds as the traits and characteristics are mixed. These are very large dogs that are typically more cooperative and trainable than the Great Pyrenees, but more discriminating and naturally protective than the Labrador Retriever.
