Posted Breed: Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: 400. Hi, I'm Buck'O! Are you my forever family?? I was born in the begining of July & my foster mum says I'm cute but a little clueless, I think I'm just being a puppy. She says I have to be careful because I might seem small but i've got some big paws to grow into. Sometime I forget I have these big paws & I get so excited I jump around which scares the cats here. I just want to play with them, I promise. I haven't met a furry friend I didn't like. I really like my foster dog sister. She's older than me & is showing me how to be a good dog. Like how to take walks, play in the back yard, potty outside & snuggle with the people. Sometimes I really annoy her and she tells me to go away. I try to listen, but I like her so much I forget she wanted to be alone so she has to tell me to go away again. When I'm not playing with her I like to play with the foster baby, he's like a person but smaller. I try to be careful because he cries if i knock him down & then i feel really bad. Sometimes the foster baby gives me special snacks for being gentle & the best snuggles, he even shares his toys sometimes when foster mum isn't looking. Shhhhh. Anyways foster mum says someday I'll find my furever family & I wonder if your that family. Interested in adopting this lovable animal? Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
