Pyredoodle
Very good combination of two very unique breeds. The very laid-back temperament of the Great Pyrenees mixes well with the active Poodle personality for a fun home companion dog.
Labrador Retriever
Labrador, Lab
The Labrador Retriever is probably America's favorite dog. He is playful (well into his adult years) and is often seen as a lifelong friend.
Basenji
African Bush Dog, African Barkless Dog, Ango Angari, Congo Dog, Zande Dog
The Basenji descends from African bush dogs and they're best known for their vocalization. Rather than barking, they 'chortle' or yodel softly. They can also be heard to wail sadly if unhappy, but are normally just very quiet.
Golden Retriever
Yellow Retriever
The Golden Retriever has a great personality and is easy to train, making this one of America's favorite family pets. They are good hunting companions and also great with kids.
English Cream Golden Retriever-Labrador Retriever
This breed is a cross between an Labrador Retriever and a English Cream Golden Retriever. This breed is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Labrador Retriever and a English Cream Golden Retriever. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the it are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
Miniature American Eskimo
Eskie
A small to medium-size Nordic-type dog, the American Eskimo Dog is known for its bright white coat, jet black points (lips, nose and eye rims) and erect triangular ears. Although once used as a circus dog, they are primarily companion dogs today and participate in conformation, obedience and agility competitions.
English Bulldog
Bulldog
Named for its use in the sport of bull baiting, the English bulldog seems to have originated in the British Isles sometime prior to the 13th century. One of the few references to the sport dates back to 1209, and talks about a butcher's dogs that chased a bull through the English town of Stamford. This pursuit so pleased the earl of the town that he inaugurated bull baiting as a sport in his domain. Today, the English bulldog makes a fine family pet. The AKC recognizes the breed simply as the bulldog.
