Siberian Husky
Chukcha, Chuksha
The Siberian Husky is very similar in looks to the Alaskan Malamute, yet somewhat smaller in build and not quite as bold. Still, he needs a strong-willed owner who will stay in control. This dog loves to roam and explore, so he needs a nice big yard.
Aussiedoodle
Aussie-Poo, Aussiepoo, Aussi-Poo
The Aussiedoodle is a cross between an Australian Shepherd and a Poodle, usually a Standard or Miniature Poodle. Both of the breeds used to create Aussiedoodles are considered to be canine Einsteins, making this one super smart cross-breed.
Poodle (Standard)
Pudle, Caniche, Barbone
The Poodle is a favorite family pet. The breed is very intelligent, trains easily, and is devoted to his family. They are quite playful, yet wary of strangers.
Shiba Inu
Japanese Shiba Inu, Japanese Small Size Dog, Shiba Ken
The Shiba Inu is a quiet and reserved dog indoors, but loves to romp and play in the great outdoors. He's a jumper, even able to catch birds, and often washes his face with paws ' like a cat!
Dachshund
teckel
The Dachshund (German for 'badger dog') is a family favorite. Playful, friendly, and full of charm, he makes a great pet.
Pom-Silk
The Pom-Silk is a cross between an Pomeranian and a Silky Terrier. The Pom-Silk is a hybrid or designer breed that was developed by crossing Pomeranian and a Silky Terrier. Though the breed was intended to be a 50/50 mix, many of the Pom-Silk are bred over many generations and may not always be 50% and 50%. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. We currently do not have more detailed information for this breed.
English Bulldog
Bulldog
Named for its use in the sport of bull baiting, the English bulldog seems to have originated in the British Isles sometime prior to the 13th century. One of the few references to the sport dates back to 1209, and talks about a butcher's dogs that chased a bull through the English town of Stamford. This pursuit so pleased the earl of the town that he inaugurated bull baiting as a sport in his domain. Today, the English bulldog makes a fine family pet. The AKC recognizes the breed simply as the bulldog.
French Bulldog
Bouledogue Français, Frenchie
The French Bulldog is low key and enjoys lots of activity. He's well suited for either family living or attaching to just one special person. He can be a great watchdog, although will bark only when there is a real need.
