    Breed: Doberman Pinscher
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: Yakima, WA
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher / Mastiff (short coat). Please take the time to read the entire profile. We spend alot of time putting as much info in them as possible. Thank you in advance. Midas- Midas is a stunning Rare breed known as a Canis Panther. Which is a cross between a dobberman, mastiff, and other similar breeds. This is a dog who was developed to be a larger sturdier version of a dobberman. So they are bred to be highly trainable dogs who are loyal to their family and easy to train. Midas is a stunning fawn boy with cropped ears and a docked tail. It is clear this was done by his breeder as his ears did not post correctly and his tail is very short. He is a big guy for a dobberman built a little thicker then most are at this age. He is a great dog and we adore him and know that he will find an amazing family. Midas came to us from his owner. He had purchased him as a puppy from a breeder who bred this breed and 5 others. She would be basically a puppy mill as far as many are concerned. He was a young kid who had no training back ground, no stable home, and was not a good fit for a dog like this. She had no reason to sell the dog to him. It really was a bad situation from the start. Because he was unable to provide him a stable home, or even consistent food the dog came to us emaciated, weak, and just a mess. He had no training, didn’t know his name. His parents convinced him to surrender the dog. We are glad we were able to help as this is a great dog who deserved so much more. Midas is really a sweet boy when you get down to it. He is an over grown puppy who knows nothing other then being bounced around and not being fed enough. He really did love his owner, and his owner loved him. But they were not able to provide the things they needed for each other. He has come so far and is really doing well with other dogs, people and older kids. He had very little socialization when he came to us. He is still over interested in cats but getting better and we feel that in time he will do fine with them as long as the owners are willing to work with him. He is very smart and wants to please, a family that wants to challenge his mind would be perfect. He is a great dog for the right family. Midas is up to date, dewormed, flea treated, altered, and vaccinated. He is working on basic commands, house breaking, and basic skills. He is doing so much better with dog introductions, other animals and even people. He was really shy at first but is doing great. He is gaining weight and getting healthier every day. He is amazing and we know that he will make someone a great pet. He would be thrilled with someone who will do things with him, go for walks or even car rides. He does love the car. He is a great dog and we adore him. We spend a lot of time trying to get to know the dogs in our program as best as we can. This means that we have spent time introducing them to dogs, cats, kids, animals, people and as many things as we can. We try to do as much as we can to evaluate them, both with in our group and if the dogs come from other rescues or shelters their evaluations as well. However dogs are individuals and will react to different situations differently. This means that we do not know how a dog will react in every situation. We give out our best guess based off information provided but the handler of a dog and the way they are introduced to a situation makes a huge impact. So if you have any questions of how to introduce a dog to your home, please let us know and we will provide as much info as we can from pamphlets to helping find a trainer in your area. Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care, vetting, training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog, a big dog, or a male dog; from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow. This year has already been hard and we have many medical dogs in need. https://www.gofundme.com/v2eap2f8 If you would like to adopt this pet please send us an email. Applications will be sent to you via email. We do our best to get back to emails in 24 hrs. If it has been longer then that please resend another email. We would love to hear from you. We welcome any questions that you may have. Our goal is to find the right fit for every home, not just any home! We have been informed that some of the links to email us regarding our adoptable dogs are not working. This has been on going for a few weeks with petfinder and a few other links. If you find this to be an issue that you are having please send an email directly to us at: RisingPhoenixWa@aol.com If you are inquiring on a specific pet we do ask that you put the name of the pet in the subject line. So we know who it is that you are inquiring regarding. Thank you in advance for understanding as we work through this. As with any rescue we are always in need of donations. MANY of our dogs come in with special needs or medical issues. These need to be resolved before going home. If you would like to make a donation toward a dogs medical care you can use our paypal address RisingPhoenixWa@aol.com you can also email us for a physical address. We are always in need of dog food, soft food for some of our special needs dogs, collars, leashes, crates, and toys!

    Breed: Doberman Pinscher
    Sex: Male Male
    Age: Young
    Location: Omaha, NE
Posted Breed: Doberman Pinscher (short coat). My name is Brennan and I am about a year and a half old. I am an all-natural Dobie boy with the full tail that is quite expressive. I was picked up as a stray and my family never came to claim me but I don’t hold grudges, I move on. I am a very nice boy and I do have some manners. I like other dogs and people. Obedience school would still be a great thing for me because I am young and need to learn many things. School is always a good thing! I am eager to please and eager to find a forever home and start over. More will be posted about me as the volunteers get to know me better. Brennan is a boy wanting to please in order to earn your lap for cuddle time. He is a great walker on a leash, he knows sit, lay down, and come. Brennan is crate trained and has nice kennel manners as he doesn't destroy his blankies or toys. Since he is young he has lots of energy, but with a walk a day he has been good in the house mainly wanting to snuggle up and take a nap. Brennan is great with other dogs and has been tested and determined to be cat safe, although he is NOT A FAN OF KIDS. Brennan is a lover and eager to find his forever home! Please ask for me at www.doberescue-ne.org All of our dogs are current with all shots, are on heart worm preventative monthly and are neutered/spayed. All dogs are tail docked. All of the above Dobes are pure breed Dobermans unless otherwise noted. We hope you can find a place in your heart and your home for one of our rescue Dobes. Please Note: In most cases we require a fenced yard. We do not place our rescue dogs in homes with very young children (under the age of 8 years). We set these limitations, not because of aggression issues with our dogs, but because Dobermans are generally large, active dogs and can easily knock down, run over or easily trip a small child, causing a serious fall. Also, we reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our adoption area encompasses Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota.
