Posted Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (medium coat). Violet arrived at TJO as a stray. We don't have any background information on her, but at the shelter we have found her to be a big goofball. We anticipate she would be a bit much for cats and that most dogs would not appreciate his rude approach and boundless energy. While meeting other dogs at the shelter she was rude meeting smalls dog (putting paws on their back and being overly energetic). She should meet any dogs she would be living with. For a young adult, Violet acts much more like a young puppy! She is young at heart and if not provided with daily physical and mental exercise, she will find fun, likely at your own expense! Can make a great companionâ¦But on their own terms. Can be quite stubborn. Perfectly happy doing their own thing. Often intelligent and alert, but need plenty of training and patience.
