CO HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING. If you’re looking for an active, outgoing, spunky young dog, then Marco just might be your new best friend. He was turned into an overcrowded county dog shelter by his owner who could no longer provide for him. Marco is only about a year-old and likely to be a Lab/Border Collie mix. He’s still got lots of puppy in him and thinks that every day should be filled with as much fun as possible. Marco gets along great with other dogs so would probably enjoy having a canine pal in his new home. He would also be a star at the dog park and in doggie daycare. Marco has excellent crate manners and is likely to be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He needs a home where he will get a lot of exercise and some training to channel all of that puppy exuberance in a positive direction. He settles down nicely in his crate though after playtime. Put a little effort into this sweet dog and you’ll have a fantastic companion for years to come. Marco weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Marco. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
