I was born in Boone, NC in May 2018, and I am currently being fostered by a nice family in Reisterstown, MD while looking for my forever home. I started out on a farm, but and I wasn’t thrilled to be a working dog, and kept wandering to visit the neighbors and their cats. If I must be honest, I’m a “people” dog… I did not like living in the barn (I’m ashamed to admit it, but I would cry all night). I’m wonderful with kids and really miss the 3 - 12 year old children from my last home. I even miss my feline buddy, the house dog, and the cows. My foster family will tell you that I'm gentle and playful with their senior dog, my leash skills are excellent, and I'm housebroken with only a couple of missteps with marking, which should stop since I was fixed on 6/12. I'm a very friendly, gentle, cuddly boy, and I’m going to make a great addition to someone's family. I am very proud of my stuffed pheasant, and I can't wait to show you how he squeaks! Other than that, I'm not sure what toys are mine yet, so I need some supervision with anything wooden, but I'm quick to learn and respond very well to correction and positive reinforcement. I'm learning my manners indoors, but outside I still want to explore, so I will need a tall secure fence to keep me safe. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
