probably a hunter and wandered away from the hunt. However, Michael has told us that he was not ever a hunting dog and was instead a pet who had never been in the woods going after deer, rabbits, or anything else other than instantly consumable food. He is excited about dog chow, treats, and anything edible that the volunteers have with them. He is a little on the chubby side, and he adores laying on his bed in the kennel run, or even outside in the sunshine on the nice days when we have beautiful blue skies in Virginia. He seems absolutely fine with the other dogs, and doesn’t appear to have high prey-drive with cats. He is a nice, well-rounded dog with a beautiful puppy-like face, appears to be housetrained, appreciates toys, stuffed, Kongs, and attention of all kinds. What a sweet boy he is!
