y adorable bundle of scruff and charm. A perfect housemate Wesley is crate trained, potty trained, and a total gentleman around the house. He’s incredibly affectionate and lives for snuggles — whether he’s curled up beside his foster parents or cozied up with his doggy foster sister. One of his most endearing quirks? He loves to sleep flat on his back, belly up, completely relaxed and trusting. A sensitive soul outdoors Wesley shines in the comfort of home, but the outside world can feel a bit overwhelming. On leash, unfamiliar people and dogs can make him a tiny bit nervous, and he may bark. With gentle redirection, he’s learning to navigate those moments — and he’s already making wonderful progress. Despite his worries, he’s always the first one out the door, tail wagging with enthusiasm. His ideal home Wesley will thrive in a calm, patient household, ideally with another friendly dog who enjoys cuddles, relaxed hangouts, and gentle play. He’s not a match for cats — our boy Wes finds small, fast creatures far too interesting. If you’re looking for a loyal, tenderhearted companion who will adore you, grow with you, and snuggle his way into your heart, Wesley just might be your perfect match. Many states have larger populations of adoptable dogs and their shelters are willing to transport pets to suitable adopting families. Some shelters might have requirements for a home visit, a fenced yard or require you to visit the pet multiple times before you commit to adopting. Understand that the shelters are doing their best to place the pets in suitable homes and these requirements are in the best interest of both you and the pet
