Honey bonds more easily with women, prefers to be the only dog, and thrives in a quiet, predictable environment. Once she trusts someone, she is incredibly sweet, loyal, and affectionate to that person. She will go to her new home on a 30day trial to ensure it’s the right fit for everyone. Temperament: Calm, gentle, deeply bonded to her person; not social with strangers Guests: May keep distance; has occasionally nipped ankles when startled or protective Other Pets: Must be the only pet; does not play with other dogs or cats Children: No children due to the possibility of nipping Daily Life: Groomed every two months; rides well in the car; fearful of leash walks Home Needs: Secure fenced yard; someone home during the day; sitter must come to the home for vacations Behavior: No anxiety; trustworthy, loose in the house; does not chew or get into things, will be scared at first. Adoption Requirements - We’re not able to make any exceptions to these requirements.
