Hui Hui, arrived back at the shelter as a stray and was not redeemed by his most recent owner. Julio has been very outgoing and eager to greet everyone during his stay at the shelter. He has also done well at keeping his kennel clean. Julio was often spotted running the neighborhood around his previous home, so it will be important for his next home to be vigilant about keeping him contained. We do not know Julio's recent experiences with other animals, so please make sure to keep introductions slow and controlled. If you are interested in meeting Julio, please give us a call! 03/14/24 Hui Hui was surrendered to the shelter because his prior owner felt they did not have the time to devote to his care. Puppies are a lot of work and a large responsibility. Hui Hui is looking for an owner with the time and energy to devote to his upbringing. He is an active breed mix that is going to need plenty of mental and physical stimulation as he ages. Right not Hui Hui is in the teething stage and should have plenty of appropriate toys to chew on. His prior owner has been working on kennel training, potty training, and basic commands. He was said to sleep well in his kennel at night and has done a great job at using potty pads. He has also been working on the commands: sit, laydown, and come. However, he is just a little pup and needs an owner who will continue to work with him consistently. We encourage his next owner to bring him to a puppy obedience class to help with socialization and obedience. Hui Hui was known to be vocal especially when excited which is to be expected of a husky.
